The Silenus 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of our estate vineyard as well as vineyards throughout the Napa Valley including the famed Beckstoffer George III vineyard in Rutherford. The wine is aged in 40% new French oak, 10% new American oak, and 50% neutral oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

The wine has a deep ruby red color and on the nose are aromas of blueberry torte, toasted oak and black olive. The wine fills the palate with flavors of currants, ripe blackberry, cherry and fresh figs. The finish includes notes of hazelnut and vanilla.
