Lincoln Creek Vineyards is known for its Zinfandel, the 80-acre vineyard is located between Highway 29 on the west and the Napa River on the east in the Oakville appellation. It is named for a small creek that cuts through the middle of the vineyard. The vineyard is the perfect climatic spot for growing elegant Zinfandel with its afternoon sun and heat followed by cooling San Pablo Bay breezes. The grapes ripen with full classic Zinfandel flavors which contribute to a wine that is layered and complex while not being overripe.

Tasting Notes:

Our 2021 Silenus Zinfandel glows with a backlit garnet red. The bright nose of this wine has flavors of blueberry, pomegranate and hints of all spice backed by red cherry. The palate is nicely balanced between flavors of red plum skin and dark black cherry, with slight clove undertones and a hint of passion fruit lingering throughout the finish. This is a bright, rich, and fun wine that drinks beautifully on its own or with B-B-Q.
