Our Rosé is a delightful result of our Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot production. Our Rosé production uses a technique, known by the French name, “saigneé”, for concentrating the flavors in our red wine by bleeding off a portion of the juice after almost no skin contact. The juice is allowed to cold ferment slowly for over 3 weeks resulting in a light, flavorful, and fruity Rosé wine.
On the nose the Rosé displays aromas of ripe strawberries, watermelon and cotton candy. On the palate the wine is crisp and refreshing with a slightly rounder style that shows its core of Cabernet Sauvignon. The mid-palate is filled with cherry, strawberry and juicy watermelon flavors. The balanced acidity and surprisingly long finish creates a lively wine ideal for warm days, or one that matches a range of foods from fresh salads to barbeque chicken and ribs.
