Red brick color. Inviting nose of vanilla, cherry, cedar and potpourri. On the palate the wine is pretty but has bold fruit flavors of cherry hard candy and wild berries. The oak provides delicious vanilla and cedar favors that complement and carry the fruit. The wine has plenty of tannins but they are soft and creamy. On the finish, bright fruit flavors persist with nutty, almond notes. This is an easy drinking wine that is loaded with flavor. Pair with thin-crust style pizza, all types of pasta dishes and pork. This wine would also be very nice to drink before dinner with light appetizers or even on it’s own.
